Dear CCSL Community,

We want to address the Coronavirus (COVID-19) condition for Ohio residents and how we plan to move forward in light of the declared pandemic. What we know, is that within the medical and scientific communities, there is not a lot known about the virus itself. Our paramount concern is the health and safety of our attendees and their families. In keeping with the recent announcement from Ohio Governor DeWine (to ban gatherings of over 100 people), we will now hold our services virtually, through March and until further notice. We will work with a skeleton crew at the Columbus Center for Spiritual Living and broadcast our meditations and services via Facebook. We encourage everyone to access Facebook for our Meditation at 10:00am and our Sunday Celebration at 10:30. Our Facebook page is: @spirituallivingcolumbus.

This week Rev. Gregory Toole is our guest speaker. We would like to staff the Sunday Meditation and Service with only those people with a vital role to play in the service itself. We’ve reached out to the Leaders in our Care Structure to share this information and contact their team members. If you choose to attend the Center, there ARE hand sanitizer dispensers on the walls located around the facility. We encourage non-hug greetings, such as elbow bumps or Namaste greetings to reduce contact. We are also postponing the March 22nd Annual Meeting. We will share more in the e-Newsletter once we determine how to proceed. We will continue to monitor the current conditions and expectations and communicate any changes to these plans. This information is also being shared on our website to ensure that anyone with an interest in CCSL knows how we are moving forward.

Whether you choose to join us in the sanctuary or online, we remain grateful for your financial gifts which allow us to continue to do our good work in the world. You can donate on the CCSL website here via PayPal link below; TEXT TO GIVE to 614-681-8616; or mail a check to: CCSL, PO BOX 14462,Columbus Oh, 43214

To paraphrase the words of Rev. David Robinson, CSL in Olympia, Washington; we ask our Practitioners and our Community to create a “corona of prayer” around our community and beyond.

Ours is to be the calm water of remembering that God is Source.

In Health and Well-being,

Margie Salmons, RScP, Chair
